Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Upkeepers website, network and any related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

Our role

Upkeepers connects customers with independent tradies and home-service businesses. Where a tradie is engaged through us, the work is performed by that tradie or business under their own ABN, licences and insurances.

Quotes, bookings & payment

• Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and may change once the job is assessed.
• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider; you authorise us to charge the agreed amount.
• Memberships renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your account.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when requesting quotes or registering an account.
• Provide safe access to the work site and disclose relevant hazards.
• Use the Services lawfully and not interfere with the platform or other users.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Upkeepers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Services. For work performed by independent tradies, your remedy is primarily against the tradie or business performing that work.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
